How can I temporarily remove a back-end machine from my load-balanced cluster?

Just go to the machines page (it's linked from the front page of the Load Balancer GUI), and select the back-end machine to be removed. As soon as the back-end is removed from the list, the Load Balancers will no longer send any traffic to these machines. However, removing the machine will not delete the records of any specific balancer mappings set up, e.g. URL mappings for web pages. This means that when the back-end is ready to be brought back into service, you need only add the back-end to the machines page, and all the previous URL mappings will be re-applied.
