From 10th June 2008, Zeus will no longer support Zeus Web Server (ZWS) on several platforms.
- AIX 5
- Tru64 4+
- MacOSX 10.3+ (PPC)
- Solaris 8 x86 (Solaris 10 x86 will be supported)
- Itanium (HP-UX and Linux)
Customers who are operating ZWS on an affected platform will be fully supported for the remainder of their support contract, and will receive full support to transfer their software to an alternative platform if they wish to do so.

- What does platform 'end-of-life' mean?
Platform 'end-of-life' means that Zeus will no longer provide product updates (features, security fixes, bug fixes) for the affected platform. Support will be limited to migration support and generic product support (i.e. for problems that are not specific to the affected platform). Supported customers will be able to migrate sideways to an alternative platform free-of-charge.
- When does the 'end-of-life' come into effect?
The end-of-life will come into effect when a current support contract expires, or in 6 months of the end-of-life announcement, whichever is later.
Zeus will provide full support, including any product updates, up to the date when end-of-life takes effect.
- What are the remaining supported platforms?
Once the end-of-life has take effect, ZWS will be supported on the following platforms:
- Linux (x86, x86_64)
- FreeBSD 5.3+, 6.1+ (x86)
- Solaris 8,9,10 (SPARC)
- Solaris 10 (x86, x86_64)
- HP-UX 11 (PA-RISC 32 bit and 64 bit)
Note: FreeBSD5 will shortly be end-of-lifed by the FreeBSD Foundation. Users are advised to upgrade to FreeBSD6.
